The film is based on the novel "Summer, The Portrait of a 19 Year Old" by Japanese mystery writer Shimada Soji.

It follows the story of a young man who is hospitalized after his leg is injured in an accident. During his stay, he witnesses a mysterious girl Xia Yingying committing a crime across the street. Drawn to the girl, he tries to get to know her better and they end up sharing a beautiful summer together.

The film is scheduled for release on May 27.
