"My character is a policeman who is neither good nor evil. He finds himself in a moral grey zone. I've seldom portrayed a character like that," said Kwok.
Others in the film include Liu Tao, who plays Kwok's wife, as well as Wang Qianyuan.

The Korean version's plot follows a homicide detective who accidentally kills a man with his car, then tries to hide the body in his mother's coffin on the day of her funeral.
However, both Kwok and Wang have refused to detail any changes they've made to the original plot.
"Peace Breaker" is due to hit Chinese theatres on August 18th.
