Darren Wang promotes fantasy martial arts action movie in midair

Taiwan model and actor Darren Wang recently went to Shanghai for a photo shoot to promote his new fantasy-style martial arts action movie.

As a result of the film, the Legend of The Naga Pearls, being set in the fictional world of Novoland, Darren Wang chose the 119th floor of the Shanghai Tower for the location of his photo shot, benefitting from a background which made it appear as if he was floating in mid-air.

The Legend of the Naga Pearls, tells the story a trio of men, including a witty thief, a hardworking constable and a prince from the human tribe. Darren Wang portrays the thief. Meanwhile, young actress Crystal Zhang and veteran actor Simon Yam also star alongside Wang.

All three stars attended the ongoing Shanghai International Film Festival in anticipation of the film's general release in Chinese theatres, on August 4.
