Celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Julianne Moore and Cindy Crawford joined Chaka Khan and Liev Schreiber at the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2018 show for New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, September 6.

Wearing a tight, black dress´╝îKardashian sat in the front row, flanked by Academy Award winning actor Julianne Moore and singer Ciara.

Ford showed his new collection inside the Park Avenue Armory.

"I was trying you know for a certain energy that my collections had at Gucci in the 90's. I didn't want to copy that or recreate that but there was an energy to them that I've been living in LA for awhile now and I've started to feel that way again. You know it's a different city than London, you feel differently, you want to dress in a different way, color starts to feel different to you than it did when I was living in London and there are a lot of sort of 90's things floating around in fashion right now and I thought, 'Well, I know how to do that,'" explained Ford backstage.

New York Fashion Week is the first in a series of global style weeks during September. It is followed by London Fashion Week.
