London-based Silent Opera is bringing their latest work "Vixen" to the ongoing Beijing Music Festival.

The innovative opera is an adaptation of Czech musician Leos Janacek's original music production "The Cunning Little Vixen."

Changes have been made to the original opera work, such as the vixen, who was changed to a troubled girl living in London.

Instead of unfolding in a forest world like the original edition, the opera also moves the forest to an underground world full of psychedelic experiences.

The opera will be staged at The Red in Sanlitun in Beijing every night until Wednesday.

CRI's Xu Fei caught up with director of the show "Vixen," Daisy Evans, to find out more about the opera.
