A famous sculpture artist who takes a philosophical reflection on space has exhibited some 20 pieces of his artwork in Beijing.

Yang Tao's solo exhibition is titled "Allegory and Site." It contains paintings and sculptures all scattered deliberately in the exhibition space. However, each seemingly independent piece is also said to have an intricate relationship with one another.

According to the Chinese artist, "Allegory" depicts the images the artist created as an expression of the metaphysical dimension of the exhibition site. He says the "site" is also a philosophical and intellectual reflection of the space, vehicle and target of the allegory.

The exhibition will last until Dec. 17, 2017.
