Zhao Lingjuan, with the comic channel of "Qianlong.com" is among the many exhibitors who have been developing domestic comic characters and brand names.

"Comics from Japan and South Korea, as well as Marvel Comics are very popular at the comics and animation festival. In my opinion, there's no competition with the domestic comics brands. My company develops content that mainly reflects the traditional culture of Beijing. Today, we exhibit these products showing the charm of the Grand Cannal and old-time Beijing, in hopes that visitors may feel it uniquely alive and fresh."

The 4-day event saw comics fans from all over the world gather in the Chinese capital.
