Two iconic stars of Hong Kong cinema, Chow Yun-fat and Aaron Kwok, have teamed up in an upcoming crime thriller, Project Gutenberg, which will hit theaters on Sept 30.

Kwok says Chow Yun-fat will surprise moviegoers with a new feel in this film.

"Chow Yun-fat has many action scenes in which he uses shotguns. He received a long training that had taken him several months. In addition to enhance his physical strength, the other goal of his training is to make him look quite differently from his previous film works."

Both Chow Yun-fat and Aaron Kwok attended a promotional event ahead of the premiere on Monday afternoon. They revealed that each of the main cast plays dual or even triple roles.

Actress Zhang Jingchu is a female lead.

"Project Gutenberg was shot in Hong Kong, Thailand and Canada, so each time when I reunited with the rest of cast; I felt I was working for a new film project. Each role I play in it is largely different from the other."

Written and directed by Felix Chong, a veteran filmmaker best known for 'Infernal Affairs,' Project Gutenberg is about a criminal ring that masters a technology to produce counterfeit banknotes around the world.

Chow Yun-fat stars as the head of the criminal ring and Kwok plays a painter, who is lured by Chow to work for him.
