HK Quartet stages a concert in Beijing with Austrian musician

Violinist Wang Jing from the Hong Kong Quartet shared his excitement on working with Austrian clarinetist Andreas Ottensamer for the first time.

"Actually we haven't had a rehearsal yet for the Mozart. But we already know that it's not going to be a problem because we have played this piece many times in separate venues. You know the communication between the players and how we work together is an international language. So I'm very confident that you know, we can bring our own message in all these pieces." Wang said.

In addition to be playing with the principal clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic Andreas Ottensamer, the Hong Kong Quartet was also joined by the Shanghai Quartet in a performance of Felix Mendelssohn's Octet in E Flat Major.
