"Avengers: Endgame" pre-sales exceed $34 million in China
Marvel's latest superhero film "Avengers: Endgame" appears poised to smash mainland's box office records, with pre-sales already earning $34 million US dollars since they became available on April 12, 2019. What's being touted as the finale of the "Avengers" series has already broken an number of records.

The 4th installment of the Avengers franchise earned over 100 million yuan ($14.9 million U.S. dollars) in just 10 hours – the quickest a film has ever surpassed the 100-million yuan benchmark in China, reports movie ticketing website MaoYan.
Advance ticket sales for "Avengers: Endgame" have since surpassed 230 million yuan ($34.4 million U.S. dollars) in the four days since the tickets became available.
"Endgame" also broke the midnight pre-sale mark of 81 million yuan ($12 million dollars) on Friday which had previously been held by "Fast and Furious 8."
"Avengers: Endgame" is due to hit theatres across China Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
