Paintings by some 40 artists from Europe, Asia, Africa, and America are on display at the Parkview Museum in Beijing.

Curated by Lóránd Hegyi, the art director of the museum, Intriguing Uncertainties is the second show in a series of thematic exhibitions aimed at exploring narratives in contemporary art that reflect empathy.

Lóránd Hegyi explained that the artist, through radical imagination, builds on disturbing improbabilities that underscore the complexity of the human condition.

Intriguing Uncertainties runs until October 21.
