57 children's dramas from China and abroad are to begin taking the stage next month in several Chinese cities, including Beijing, Jinan and Chengdu.

The China National Theatre for Children has announced this year's China Children's Theatre Festival will be held from July 6th to August 11th.

The international productions include "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" by the Chicago Children's Theatre, as well as a puppetry show entitled "Diva" by the Danish Sofie Krog theatre.

In addition to the stage shows, both the international and Chinese troupes will sit down in forums to discuss how to promote children's shows around the world.

The China Children's Theatre Festival has troupes involved from 14 different countries.
