Singer Chen Chusheng concert tour to kick off

Pop singer Chen Chusheng will soon kick off a concert tour around China.

Chen made the announcement at a promotional event in Beijing.

"I considered naming my concert 'Journey to The Light', as same as my new album," he said. "Later I changed my mind to name it 'Are You Ok?', which conveys my most sincere regards to my friends and fans. Five years passed since my last concert, and now we meet each other again. The stage effects of my concert will still largely rely on the lighting."

Under his latest contract with Universal Music China, Chen's newest album 'Journey to The Light' will be in stores on August 26th.

Chen rose to fame after Has Anyone Told You was released in 2007. Written after losing his girlfriend, and his brother was injured in a car accident, the songs expresses his sadness and confusion.
