"The Ex-File" series director's new movie to hit theatres in holiday

Writer-director Tian Yusheng's new comedy film "The Last Wish" will be released this Thursday (September 12).

Tian, who is known for his box-office hit romantic comedy series "The Ex-File", recently promoted this Chinese adaptation of a South Korean movie of the same name in Beijing.

"I made this film to commemorate brotherly friendship on campus. The film is hoped to touch and bring joy to moviegoers."

The film centers on a high schooler who discovers that he has a terminal disease. So his two friends go on a fun adventure together to fulfill his final wish of losing his virginity.

Tian Yusheng's film has received raving reviews for his funny but also emotional story plot. At the premiere of "The Last Wish" , "Wandering Earth" director Guo Fan also thought highly of the new film.

"I couldn't help laughing and shed tears when I watched this movie."
