China's big-budget disaster movie to hit cinemas in December

China's big-budget disaster movie has locked a release date on December 12th.

The news about Sky Fire was announced at pop singer Jay Chou's concert in Shanghai. His wife Hannah Quinlivan stars in the movie. Before beginning his concert, Chou encouraged his fans to watch it.

Earlier, film producer Dong Wenjie disclosed that they plan to make Sky Fire a trilogy, saying that a new script is already in the works.
