In fairness, John Terry has also been linked with moves to Aston Villa, Brighton, West Bromwich Albion, and a host of other clubs.

However, in our eyes, Birmingham City or a leading club in the Chinese Super League look to be the most likely options.

Terry has been at Chelsea for an impressive 22 seasons, and also has an admirable record playing for England.

However, in July, his contract will expire and he will become a free agent for the first time in nearly a quarter of a century.

Understandably, then, he's hot property in the transfer market.

Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has publicly stated that the club has a made a 'good offer' for Terry and the general consensus amongst pundits and in the media seems to be that this will be tempting to him.

However, it's likely that any offer from a Chinese club would be for more money, and would also give Terry the chance to play at the forefront of development in the game, in the world's fastest expanding league.

He'd be joining a host of other European and Worldwide stars in the Chinese Super League such as Hulk, Alex Teixeira and Jackson Martinez.
