Chinese basketball player Zhou Qi shines at NBA debut
Chinese player Zhou Qi has shown his strength at his NBA debut appearance, reports thepaper.cn.

Zhou got 17 points with 6 rebounds and 1 assist for the Houston Rockets, as well as 1 block and 1 steal, during the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
The Rockets beat the Nuggets with 102-99, their first victory of the Summer League.

Zhou got a plus−minus rating of +11, the highest of the game.
The 21-year-old player signed with the Rockets on Thursday, becoming only the second Chinese playing with the team after Chinese basketball legend Yao Ming.

Zhou led the Xinjiang Flying Tigers to the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) title last season.
He was also named the CBA Defensive Player of the Year last season.
