Young Chinese player turns pro in Brazil

Chinese football player Wu Linfeng has obtained his labor permit in Brazil and is now ready to turn professional with his new club Botafogo. 

The 18-year-old striker has been training in Brazil for four years and was selected for the Brazilian club's squad in the 2014 Lazio Cup, an international youth football international championship. Wu provided 4 assists to help Botafogo into a 3rd place finish at the tournament. 

Wu is a product of Hebei Jingying Football Club's youth academy. He earlier signed a 2-year contract with Botafogo.
