The second match in the semi-final will take place this coming Tuesday.

In Europe, Real Madrid has taken this year's Spanish Super Cup.

Despite being without the services of star Cristano Ronaldo, Real Madrid was still able to dump Barca 2-nil to take the Cup 5-1 on aggregate.

In the English Premier League, Arsenal is prepping for its forthcoming match against Stoke on Saturday without the services of Alex Sanchez.

The Chilean striker is said to be sidelined with an abdominal injury, but is also currently without a new contract.

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger says contract talks haven't been moving along.

"At the moment no because we have not progressed on that front. At the moment he is a player that goes into the final year of his contract and prepares for the season. We have not made any progress on the offer front."

Arsenal got past Leicester City 4-3 in their opening fixture this past weekend.
