Steve hat-trick helps Yanbian tie Beijing 4-4 in CSL

Steve Trawally scored three times on Sunday, helping the bottom Club of Chinese Super League (CSL) Yanbian Fude tie Beijing Guoan in a eight-goal thrilling game.

Yu Yang headed in from a corner for Guoan in the 3rd minute. To earn a 2018 AFC Champions League ticket, Roger Schmidt's side needs to register the first league win after a break of three weeks.

Ba Dun's close range shot was denied by Yanbian's goalkeeper Chi Wenyi before Steve Trawally equalized the score through a penalty kick. In the 36th minute, the Gambian striker turned the table by beating goalkeeper Yang Zhi in a one-on-one chance.

Richard Guzmics' coverted a chance in chaos before the end of the first half, enlarging the visiting team's advantages to two.

Jonathan Soriano Casas narrowed the gap to one in the 50th minute. Yu Yang added his second in the 55th minute, throwing attendances of Workers' Stadium into frenzy. In the 69th minute, Casas sent home a low pass from Zhang Xizhe, putting Guoan 4-3 ahead.

Steve finished his hat-trick to help Fude snatch a point from Guoan before the final whistle.

Another CSL team from Northeast China, Liaoning Shenyang Kaixin, was pushed closer to relegation after losing to Chongqing Dangdai Lifan 2-0.

In the other CSL games played on Sunday, Tianjin Quanjian defeated Guizhou Hengfeng 3-1, Hebei China Fortune edged Guangzhou R&F 2-1, Shanghai Greenland lost to Henan Jianye 2-1.
