2019 FIBA World Cup qualifying games set to kick off

Team Red of China's national basketball team is making preparations for a 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifying game.

The team will play their opening match against a team from Hong Kong.

Fang Shuo is a member of Team China.

"We have some new faces. But our strategies remains unchanged, the same like what was in the summer. The teammates know each other very well. New members on our team are also trying hard to fit in. They are doing a very good job."

Players including Zhao Jiwei, Zhai Xiaochuan and Meng Duo are not on the roster due to injuries.

NBA player Zhou Qi will not play the game as well.

Other games on the schedule also have New Zealand up against South Korea.

Syria will be at home to Jordan.

And it's Lebanon hosting India.
