Chen, the titlist of 2017 National Youth Sailing Championships, said he was satisfied about his performance at the whole event, but still there was some regret. "I could have done better today," he said.

Yoav Cohen of Israel claimed the title of boy's RS:X. "It's an awesome week. It's really hard to win the championship." said Cohen.

As for getting a third place in the girl's RS:X, Yu Ting said she had a lot more to learn from the rivals in skills. Emma Wilson of England finally took the gold and Giorgia Speciale of Italy settled for the silver.

The gold medal of the boy's 29er went to Theo Revil and Gautier Guevellast from France. "We're very delighted and it's our glory," said Revil. Italian girl Margherita Porro and her partner clinched the title of the girl's 29er in advance on Thursday.

In the girl's Laser Radial, Charlotte Rose of the U.S. claimed the title with big advantage. In the boy's event, Maor Ben Hrosh of Israel surpassed his Russian rival for the gold medal.
