Naomi Cheong comes to China after playing on the American youth tennis team. The 15-year-old is one of the youngest players to hold a WTA world ranking.

In agreeing to sign with the Chinese school, Cheong says she and her father were swayed by the training atmosphere and professional coaches.

The tennis school says it hopes the addition of the Chinese American tennis star will help the school's reputation abroad.
