Hohhot to name Spanish Montull as head coach

Raul Agne Montull was named the head coach of China's second tier soccer team Hohhot, the club in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region said on Friday.

The 47-year-old Spaniard played as mid-defender for 14 years and became a soccer coach in 2004.

Montull coached several teams in lower division of Spanish soccer leagues, such as Peralada, Cadiz, Huelva. His recent coaching experience was in Real Zaragoza, a Spanish second division club.

Hohhot, placed 10th last season, looks forward to a brand new start with its foreign coach and its new Chinese coach Zhao Qingfa.
