Italy beats China in Women's World Volleyball semifinals

Italy has beaten China 3-2 in the semifinals of the FIVB Women's World Volleyball Championships in Yokohama.

Paola Egonu scored 44 points in the victory for Italy, while Zhu Ting scored 26 for China.

On Saturday, China is due to play the Netherlands, who were beaten by Serbia 3-1 in the semifinals, in the fight for third place.
