Brandon Ingram received four-game suspension with Rajon Rondo three and Chris Paul two for their actions during a brawl between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets on Saturday, reported by ESPN.

The fight broke out during LeBron James’ home debut for the LA Lakers.

In the ensuing group argument, Paul stuck a finger into the face of Rondo, who responded by punching his fellow point guard. Ingram then threw punches in the melee.

Paul claimed Rondo caused their fight by spitting on him.

All three players were ejected with 4:13 to play after a prolonged series of fights.

James, who acted as peacekeeper grabbing Paul to break up the melee, said after the game that " I just tried to calm things down, that's all, play basketball.”

James finished the game with 24 points, five rebounds and five assists in the Lakers’ 124-115 defeat.
