Two trains slightly collided at a railway station in Moscow Monday, with two people slightly injured, Moscow Railway said in a statement.

At 14:38 local time (1138 GMT), the wheels of two carriages of a suburban train, starting from the Kursk railway station, left the track and the carriages leaned against a "Strizh" high-speed train arriving at the station from the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, according to the statement.

Two passengers of the Strizh train turned to the railway station's first aid post for bruise treatment.

It is yet unknown what caused the incident. Currently, railway workers are working on a temporary scheme for the movement of the two trains.
