Spain's firefighter plane crashes in central Portugal

A Canadair firefighter plane crashed on Tuesday in Pedrogao Grande of central Portugal in operation battling forest fire there, Portugal's National Civil Protection Authority said.

There is no information immediately available about the cause of the crash and the whereabout of the pilot.
