One new product which has just launched in the USA is 'infused raw cacao powder' which you snort.

'Coco Loko' is designed to give you "a state of euphoria similar to the feeling of ecstasy." The idea has been seen across Mainland Europe and can now be found in London too.

But the concept has been used on and off the dance floor, chef and food inventor Heston Blumenthal has used snorting chocolate at his restaurant The Fat Duck.

But it's not just the UK where chocolate is in demand. The global demand for chocolate (non snorting) is showing recovery and leading suppliers are now forecasting stabilization of demand in the key markets worldwide.

Among the BRICS nations, India and China are projected to have the highest chocolate market growth in the period 2015-2020, according to Indo-China Chocolate Market Study 2017, a report recently released by Smart Research Insights.

The Indian and Chinese consumers are more interested in dark and sugar-free chocolates, given their health benefits.
