Windsor, to the West of London, is the UK’s home of Lego. It’s conveniently located close to Heathrow Airport.

The news comes after we recently reported about the growing importance to Lego of China.

Financial results for the firm in 2017 were far from disastrous, but showed the first revenue decline in 13 years, as the surplus of stock forced them to offer discounts to consumers.

Nevertheless, there was only one key market in which the company truly excelled over the year, China.

It’s clear that the country is an extremely important focus for Lego, with a press release revealing, “The group… sees strong potential in China, where revenue grew high double-digits in 2017.

“(Lego) recently signed a partnership agreement with one of the country’s largest internet companies, Tencent, and has plans to further expand its presence in this strategic market.”
