Ivanka Trump to shutter fashion brand
Ivanka Trump's clothing company is shutting down.

In a statement, Trump said she is focusing on her work in Washington and closing her brand was "the only fair outcome for her team and partners."
The company's staff have been informed that they're being laid off.
Ivanka Trump is a senior adviser to her father, President Donald Trump, and has been encouraging US companies to pledge to hire American workers.
Her company has been accused in the past of using foreign workers and making its products overseas.
It's also suggested her business contradicts the government's ethics restrictions.
