South Africa to fund programs for survivors of gender-based violence

South Africa will spend R517 million on programs to care for and support survivors of gender-based violence, said President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Meanwhile, R179 million has been allocated to education, awareness-raising, and prevention programs.
