Xi Jinping says the Xiamen summit has adopted the BRICS Leaders Xiamen Declaration, reaffirming the BRICS spirit featuring openness, inclusiveness and mutually beneficial cooperation. The meeting has summarized the successful experiences of the past decade and mapped out a new blueprint for strengthening the BRICS partnership and practical cooperation in various fields.
President Xi Jinping on Tuesday meets journalists at the end of the ninth BRICS summit in the southeastern Chinese city of Xiamen.
The summit with the theme of "BRICS: Stronger Partnership for a Brighter Future" was held on Sept. 3-5.
