Chris: And wo shi Chris. Yajie, I love these swimming lessons, let’s continue with more words in the water. 
YJ: Okay, let’s start with Key Words of the Day.

Chris: Yajie, the fantastic thing that I experienced in my last visit to Hawaii is doing the diverse diving. And you can’t imagine how beautiful the underwater world is! For example, the corals, the sea cucumbers, and  even the dolphins… so I would like to learn the Chinese for these animals. 
YJ: No problems, let’s learn them together. First one is 珊瑚(shan1hu2), which is coral. The first tone and second tone. 
Chris: 珊瑚(shan1hu2).
Yajie: 海参(hai3shen1), sea cucumber. The third tone, and the first tone. 
Chris: 海参(hai3shen1)
Yajie: and dolphin is 海豚(hai3tun2), . The third tone, and the second tone.
Chris: 海豚(hai3tun2)

Chris: Yajie, then I step on the soft beach, how do I say beach in Chinese? 
YJ: it’s 沙滩。
Chris: sha1 tan1. 
YJ:Yes. And after diving, you may like to join the popular sports on the beach which is…

YJ: Right, we learned volleyball before, do you still remember that? 
Chris: Yes. It’s pai2 qiu2.
YJ: Good. Then beach volleyball is 沙滩排球(sha1 tan1 pai2 qiu2).

Chris: 我(wo3) 
YJ: 喜欢(xi3huan), like to
Chris: 喜欢 (xi3huan)
YJ: 打(da3)here it means to play
Chris: 打(da3)

Chris: hua2. 
YJ: dao4 means a passage or path. 
Chris: dao4. 
YJ: Together it’s 滑水道(hua2shui3dao4) waterslide.
