Zigong, a city in China's Sichuan province has become(成为) the home(家乡) of dinosaur(恐龙) model(模型) making.

The city of Zigong in southwestern China's Sichuan is famous for dinosaur fossil(化石) remains, the largest number(数量) ever found(发现) in the country.

It's now also become the home of dinosaur model making, boasting more than 200 companies(公司) with about 5000 employees(员工) in an industry(工业) which was estimated to be worth(价值) some 200 million yuan in 2016.

The models are exported(出口) worldwide places(地方) such as(例如) the United States, Turkey, Thailand, Australia and more. They are usually found on display(展示) in theme parks, museums, and entertainment facilities.

Statistics show Zigong-produced dinosaurs models account for 70% of all those produced in China.

One of the models, a 40-meter long Tyrannosaurus Rex recently sold for around 1.1 million Yuan.
