Doctor forcibly(强制地) dragged(拖) off United Airlines flight, enraging netizens around the world.

The overbooked(超售) UA flight from Chicago to Louisville, Kentucky asked(问) passengers for volunteers(志愿者) to give up(放弃) their seats(座位) and offered(提供) $800 to any person who would want to take(乘坐) a flight the next day. After no one volunteered, the airline supposedly picked(挑选) 4 passengers at random(随机的) and told them they must get off the flight.

The reportedly 69-year-old man, a doctor, was asked to leave the plane. He refused(拒绝), saying he was needed at the hospital the next day. United Airlines then asked for security to remove(移除) him- bloodying his nose along the way. Another passenger told CNN that he screamed he was being profiled for being Chinese.

The airline's CEO apologized(道歉) for the incident on April 10 amid mounting outrage(愤怒) over the video. He said the airline was reaching out to the passenger to "further address and resolve(解决) this situation.”
