105岁还在工作的老奶奶 Can you imagine working at 105 years old?

Li Yuzhen is a 105-year-old photographer from Guilin, Guangxi.

Li is one of the two elders who are above 100 years old in town, and she still works(工作) at the town's oldest photo studio. She started to learn(学习) photography(摄影) when she was 41 and she has been a photographer for 64 years. 

As a photographer for 64 years, she has personally observed the history(历史) of photography in China: from black(黑色) and white(白色) to color(彩色) and from film(胶卷) to digital(数字的).

Li Yuzhen started to learn photography from her husband after getting married in 1953. Li's husband used to run a photo studio in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. They moved to Guilin, Guangxi when Japan bombed Guangzhou in 1938. In 1944, Li and her husband moved to Gongcheng County when Japan bombed Guilin.

Li was checking the films in the darkroom(暗房) at home while her daughter was helping hang(悬挂) the photos.

Li was still proficient in operating her vintage twin-lens reflex camera called Seagull Camera from Shanghai.

Li enjoyed her old film collections.

Li was also good at using up to date digital cameras and liked to walk around and shot(拍摄) scenery and people, but her favorite is her family. Although Li's family did most of the work at the studio, some customers would still ask Li to take photos for them.

Li was teaching her grand grand daughter some photographic tricks(技巧) as the little girl showed the photos she took with the smartphone.

There were still 5 family members who are photographers. Li was very pleased to know that her grand grand daughter was also interested in photography.
