残疾人艺术家表演《千手观音》 Thousand Hands Guan Yin in dance performed by deaf-mute

The famous Chinese dance(舞蹈) “Thousand Hands Guan Yin” was seen Thursday in the Palais des Nations in Geneva. It was performed(表演) by actors(演员) from the China Disabled People(残疾人) ’s Performing Art Troupe as they held there a performance themed(主题) “My Dream”.

The name Guanyin is short for(简称)  Guanshiyin, the name of a Bodhisattva, which means "Observing the Sounds of the World". She is also sometimes(有时) referred to as Guanyin Pusa(观音菩萨).
