A 'wavy' road has been built in an attempt to accommodate(适应) stores(商店) at different(不同的) levels(平面). Known as Mountain City(山城), planners in Chongqing have had to come up with pretty(相当) ingenious(独特的) ways to cope with the terrain(地势), combining roads and shops.

Apart from this ‘wavy’ road, the city boasts an overpass(立交桥) with 15 ramps and 5 layers. Navigating the intersection is no easy feat, and it’s easy to get lost(迷路) or carsick(晕车).
