父母终于和失踪24年女儿团聚 Parents reunite with missing daughter after 24 year search

A couple have reunited(重聚) with their missing(失踪) daughter on Tuesday following a 24-year long search(寻找).

Xinhua News Agency reports that Wang Mingqing(王明清)'s 3-year-old daughter disappeared near the family's fruit stand in Chengdu(成都), Sichuan Province, on January 8, 1994, while Wang and his wife were busy at dealing with customers(招待顾客).

To aid in their continuing search, in 2015, Wang became a driver(司机) for a ride-sharing company in Chengdu, with the hope of branching out his search. Wang would tell(讲述) his story(故事) to his passengers(乘客), handing out cards(卡片) with his daughter's information(信息), hoping to get the message out.

The story eventually went national in 2017. Lin Yuhui, a forensic artist in Shandong Province, created two sketches(素描) of Wang Mingqing's missing daughter in 2017 after he heard of Wang's story.

A girl living in the northeastern province of Jilin eventually made contact with Wang Mingqing, after noting the sketches "surprisingly" resembled(相似) her.

A DNA test on April 1, 2018, confirmed that she is Wang's daughter.
