中国无人潜水器完成深海首潜 China's unmanned submersible Qianlong III makes first dive into sea

China's self-developed(自主研发的) unmanned submersible(潜水器) Qianlong III(潜龙三号) is 3.5 meters(米) long(长), 1.5 meters high(高) and weighs(重) 1.5 tons(吨).

The orange clownfish-shaped autonomous underwater vehicle makes its first dive(首潜) into the sea from the Chinese research vessel Dayang Yihao (大洋一号 Ocean No. 1), in the early morning on April 20, 2018. It entered the 3,955-meter-deep sea area and traveled 24.8 km. (Xinhua/Liu Shiping)
