学生一次性收618个快递价值10万元 Student wins 618 parcels worth 100,000 yuan

A sophomore university student in Nanjing won(赢) hundreds of gifts(礼物) on the online shopping site Tmall.com(天猫) of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group during the "618" shopping festival that fell on Monday, or June 18.

The student who only gave her surname(姓) Peng was the winner of a lucky draw(抽奖) earlier this month launched by Tmall to promote the sale(促销).

She received 618 delivery parcels(包裹) of food(食物), clothing(衣服), and daily necessities(日常用品) on Monday, the D-Day of the shopping festival. The gifts were worth(价值) more than 100,000 yuan ($15,437).

Gifts include(包括) facial essence(面部精华), a new Vivo cellphone(手机), 618 mantis shrimps(皮皮虾), 618 crayfishes(龙虾), 540 rolls(卷) of toilet paper(手纸), 400 packs of facial tissues(面巾纸), 480 bottles(瓶) of coca-cola, 180 packs of sanitary towels(卫生巾)... and even 618 yuan worth of condoms(避孕套). Peng said that apart from a small number of items(物品) that she'll keep for personal use, most of them will be sold for charity(慈善).
