江苏无公害草莓受欢迎 Pesticide-free greenhouse for strawberries built in Jiangsu

Greenhouses(大棚 dàpéng) for the pesticide-free cultivation(种植 zhòngzhí) of strawberries(草莓 cǎoméi) have been established in the province of Jiangsu. It's the latest step(举措 jǔcuò) being taken in the province's strawberry growing region around the township of Baitu to produce high-quality strawberries for sale around the country. The strawberry greenhouses cover an area of 330 hectares. Strawberry production in Jiangsu has become a popular way for local farmers to supplement their incomes(收入 shōurù). The annual harvest is also becoming a popular tourist draw.
