武汉军运村有哪些“不一样” Wuhan Military Games athletes' village showcases notable features

Competitors at the 7th Military World Games(军运会 Jūn yùn huì), which opens on Friday, have now settled into the athletes' village in the host city of Wuhan(武汉), capital city of central China's Hubei Province.

Notable features in the living quarters include a spacious canteen(餐厅 cāntīng), which can cater(容纳 róngnà) for 4,500 diners at the same time and is open 19 hours a day, offering a daily choice of 100 dishes of various cuisines(菜品 càipǐn).

The doors(门 mén) in the village are designed to be 15 centimeters taller(高 gāo) than average, in order to provide enough room for statuesque basketball and volleyball players, and the athletes' beds also come with movable stools for extension(延长 yáncháng), to meet the requirements of taller occupants.

A total of 9,308 soldiers(军人 jūnrén) from 109 countries will compete in a record-high 329 events across 27 sports in the ten-day event, which will conclude(闭幕 bìmù) on October 27.
