Rice Terraces shrouded in mist

The Longji Rice Terraces, also known as the Longsheng or Dragon's Back Rice Terraces, change dramatically with the seasons. In spring, water irrigates the fields feeding the rice shoots; In summer they become like lush green waves; In the autumn, the mountainside turns gold with ripened millet; In winter, the whole mountain is covered in frost and snow, said to be like dragons playing with water.
