'Brocading Together' world record broken in China's Hainan

​Crafts people from different places in Hainan have come together in Dongfang city, Hainan province to break the world record for the most people brocading together. Brocading is stitching a raised pattern of gold or silver thread into a rich fabric such as silk. An official from the Guinness World Records Liaison Office China, Wu Xiaohong, confirmed the record attempt which saw 322 artisans in all, working together.
