As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, the sale of traditional carp-shaped cakes enters a peak time in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian Province. The carp-shaped cake originates from Fuzdhou in Fujian, so it is called "local mooncake" in Fuzhou. The cakes are made of flour, sugar, bean paste as well as other materials and shaped like carp fish.
