'Intelligent zebra crossing' put into use in Gansu

An intelligent zebra crossing is unveiled at an intersection without traffic lights in Lanzhou, Gansu Province in November 2017. The heat detectors will be triggered when people cross the road, and the green traffic sign will be shown. The LED flashes installed along the zebra crossing will remind cars to slow down.
