The aerial photo taken on November 28, 2017 shows a government building dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD) in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province. It is now half-surrounded by modern buildings in the city center. The government building has been preserved and renovated numerous times through the years. The building was where the rankings in the former imperial examinations were announced. [Photo: Chinanews.com]
