The horse presented by French President Emmanuel Macron to Chinese President Xi Jinping as a national gift during his visit to China in January is currently staying in quarantine at the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in Beijing, China. The horse, named Vesuve de Brekka, arrived by plane to Beijing on January 4. It passed the strict inspection of the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and began a 30-day quarantine. At the end of the quarantine period it will be sent to a horse ranch. According to Reuters, this is the first time that France has given one of the elite cavalry corps' horses as a gift. [Photo: IC]
